Warranty Coverage
Each Egesa Mabati product carries an anti-corrosion warranty against perforation due to manufacturing defects, ranging from 5 to 30 years depending on the product's gauge and coating type (see individual product pages for exact terms).
What's Covered
Premature rust-through caused by coating or substrate manufacturing defects under normal use and correct installation.
What's Not Covered
- Damage from incorrect installation or unauthorised modification
- Damage from extreme weather events (hailstorms, falling trees, etc.)
- Cosmetic fading that does not affect structural integrity
- Damage from contact with incompatible chemicals or materials (e.g. certain fertilisers, unsealed cement runoff)
- Coastal/high-salinity environments without specified coastal-grade coating
Making a Warranty Claim
Contact the branch where you purchased your roofing sheets with your order number, photos of the affected area, and approximate installation date. Our team will schedule an inspection where required.
